Background: Multifoetal gestation means the simultaneous development of more than one fetus in the uterus. The most common type is of two fetuses (twins), though the development of three (triplets), four (quadruplets), five (quintuplets), or six fetuses (sextuplets) may also occur, which is a rare phenomenon1. Objectives: To study incidence and the maternal and fetal outcome in multifetal gestation. Material & Methods: Study Design: Descriptive Cross sectional study.
